Join illustrator Santiago Taberna for his brand new Zine making workshop.  This class is a mix of collaging, drawing, story telling, and having fun with producing your own Zine.

A zine (short for magazine or fanzine) is a self-published, often non-commercial publication that that features original or repurposed text and images, typically produced using a photocopier. Since their conception, zines have always been a vehicle for people’s obsessions, printed and published without asking for anyone’s permission.

In this workshop, you’ll create your very own short zine about what you know best following the DIY ethos of the medium. Bring along a theme you know well and we’ll use physical media to create a master document to photocopy zines at pleasure, staple them together easily and have them ready to share — no computers required!

You don’t need a profound topic to make a Zine, it can be about anything from your favourite meals to your dog’s moods or you can simply work with doodles and sketches.

All materials will be provided, and all abilities welcome.
