What is the fundraiser for?
We are so excited to run this wee Print Sale to raise funds to run free or heavily discounted workshops within communities in Glasgow. We are trying to work with our local communities as much as we can and we want to bring printmaking to areas where people don’t often have access to art. We are especially hoping to bring printmaking classes to schools and youth groups to inspire young people, give them new ideas, teach them new skills and allow them to explore creative career paths for themselves. We would like to focus predominantly on the most disadvantaged areas of Glasgow as we believe that cost should never be a barrier to accessing art. This fundraiser will allow us to offer free classes to local communities.
Where will my money go?
We will use all profits from this Print Sale to run free or heavily dicounted workshops for young people in and around Glasgow. Mobile Print Studio is not taking any percentage from these earnings. Who made my print?
TINTIN LINDKVIST NIELSEN
Illustrator/animator
Hej! My name is Tintin and I'm a Swedish artist based in Glasgow. With colours and characters, I like to create worlds that look like ours whilst also being different. I work cross-disciplinary within the field of visual communication and storytelling. I spend my time creating short animations, bright gouache paintings, inky and loose drawings in blue, and sets and props for stop motion films. I recently graduated from the course Communication Design at The Glasgow School of Art.
Tintin has been a part of the Mobile Print Studio team since November 2023 as a freelance tutor and workshop leader.
